Day 01: Delhi
Greeting & Namaste to India! On your arrival at IGI Airport in Delhi, our representative will warm welcome you from Jovial Tours. Our representative will accompany you from airport to the hotel pre booked. There you will be given all the sightseeing related documents along with a brief discussion about golden triangle tour. After that you can relax and your overnight stay is at hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing in Delhi
After a breakfast at hotel, our representative will take you around some of the well-known places of Delhi - is basically a hustling-bustling city with Mughal architecture at sprawl. In the midst of the 21st century buildings you can find a good picture of the yesteryears in the old age buildings. You will explore some of the amazing Mughal architecture. The first destination is Humayun’s Tomb. If you look at it from a distance you will feel like as if the tomb is floating on the gardens it is encircled with – an exemplary example of that era. From here you will reach Qutub Minar (UNESCO World Heritage Site) – the highest Minaret of India. We shall also see the Ashoka Stupa in Qutub Minar Complex. From here you see Jama Masjid (UNESCO World Heritage Site). We will pass by Lodhi Garden and spend some time there as we reach Akshardham Temple. After lunch you will go for a drive to see the Red Fort from outside. In the evening we will take you to Chandni Chowk (local market) for shopping. In the evening back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Delhi – Sikandarabad – Agra
In the morning after a breakfast, we will drive to Agra – the love city of Uttar Pradesh, India. In between we will stop at Sikandarabad - is the place where mausoleum of Mughal Emperor stands tall. It’s an important historical place and we shall guide you through as you take a round of the place. In the afternoon we will reach Agra and soon after lunch at the hotel; we shall move forward. After lunch we shall visit the Taj Mahal (one of the Seven Wonders of the World); Red Fort of Agra and Tomb of Itmad – Ud – Daulah. In the evening we will take you famous local market of Agra – Sadar Bazar for shopping and city tour. Your overnight is arranged at the hotel in Agra.
Day 04: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur
On the day 4, our next destination is Jaipur – the redoubtable Pink City of Rajasthan. So, soon after you finish your breakfast we shall get going to the Capital of Rajasthan. En route to Jaipur we shall see Fatehpur Sikri (Capital of Mughal Empire Akbar, Buland Darwaza (Gate of Magnificence) and Shrine of Sheikh Salim Chishti (magnificent example of Mughal Architecture in India). Lunch will be in the middle of the trip as we touch Jaipur in the evening. Relax for a time and have nearby tour of the hotel. Your overnight is arranged at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 05: Full Day Sightseeing in Jaipur
Get up with refreshing hot tea/coffee early in the morning. The fresh breeze welcomes you to Jaipur tour. After finishing breakfast we shall move on to explore some of the finest Rajasthani Architecture. The first place is Hawa Mahal. This honeycombed Mahal was deliberated for the Royal Ladies to see the local life. Take a peep through the “Jharokhas” or small windows to see how it looks from inside this 5 – storied building. The next destination is the “Amber Fort”. Take a elephant ride up the hill if you wish or we will take you by road. Take a good look at the Rajasthani miniature paintings, armoury, Queens and Kings room, Royal Kitchen and vessels used here and the panoramic view. From here we move on to see City Palace (present day residence of Prince and Princess of Jaipur). Here see the Silver Miniature Museum, miniature painting factory and the place where the present Prince were married. Soon after lunch we move on to see Jantar Mantar (India’s largest Solar Observatory).
On the way back to our next destination two other places stand – Lake Palace and Nahargardh Fort. Lake Palace can be seen from the road itself; while Nahargardh is good as SunSet Point. From here you can see the entire city getting into sleepy mode. In the evening, we shall take you around the city and to Babu Market. Here shop for true ethnic Indian Rajasthani dresses and silver jewellery; blue pottery; miniature paintings and Mojaris (leather shoes). We will also ask you to try the famous Lassi (local sweet drink) here. Your overnight stay is arranged at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur – Delhi
Taking a breakfast at hotel we will depart from Jaipur to Delhi international airport to catch the flight for onward journey.
